Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their busy Supply Chain team based in South Oxfordshire. Working alongside an experienced Purchasing team, you will take ownership of a specialist commodity group, managing suppliers and ensuring materials, goods and services are delivered on time and at the best possible value to support production. The Role . Manage a portfolio of suppliers within a specialist commodity group. . Place purchase orders in line with production demand. . Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement. . Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. . Ensure materials are delivered on time to meet manufacturing schedules. . Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing data within the ERP system (SAP experience advantageous). . Work closely with internal departments to support business objectives. About You We''re looking for someone who has: . Previous buying or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment. .
