I am operating alongside a leading earthworks and remediation contractor. They are looking to onboard a site agent to help deliver a new flagship scheme in Surrey. My client operate heavily across the South East and surrounding counties.

Site agent responsibilities: 

• Take responsibility for managing defined sections of work, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and to the required quality
• Coordinate day-to-day site operations including supervision of engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
• Support the planning of works and assist in tracking progress against programme and budget
• Provide technical input on construction methodologies, temporary works, and sequencing
• Ensure site documentation such as RAMS, ITPs, permits and progress records are maintained accurately
• Assist with subcontractor management, material procurement and logistics planning
• Contribute to client and internal meetings, reporting progress and raising any issues or risks
• Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities. 

Site agent requirements: 

• Right to work in the UK. 
• Diploma or degree in civil engineering.
• CSCS card - Gold, White or Black.
• SMSTS.
• First aid.
• Proven experience in a site agents role. 
• Solid knowledge and understanding of bulk earthworks and muck shifting. 
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
