SEN Science TeacherSalary Range: Depending on experienceLocation: MaidstoneJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join an Alternative provision in Maidstone. This role is ideal for a secondary science teacher with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people, whether transitioning from a mainstream environment or already experienced in PRU/SEMH/SEN settings.Day to day of the role:Deliver engaging science lessons to secondary students within a PRU/SEMH/Alternative Provision setting.Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and create an inclusive learning environment.Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic support to students.Develop and implement individual education plans for students with special educational needs.Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and interventions as necessary.Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.Experience as a secondary science teacher.Ideally, experience in a PRU/SEMH/SEN environment.Ability to remain calm and compassionate while setting firm boundaries.Trustworthy, reliable, and motivated to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.Benefits:Competitive salaryOpportunity to work within a supportive multi-agency team.Fulfilling role making a significant difference in the lives of students.Professional development ..... full job details .....
