Quality Control & Compliance Manager

Monday- Friday | Permanent 

Our client, an established manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Control & Compliance Manager to own their Quality Management System and lead on BRCGS, HACCP and food safety compliance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you''ll manage a Quality Control Technician and work closely with wider departments to maintain quality standards site-wide.

This role will include travel between sites, so ability to travel is required. 

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Manage quality control from goods-in through to product release
• Lead the HACCP team and manage internal/external audits, including BRCGS certification
• Host customer and certification audits
• Run the supplier approval process and performance reviews
• Investigate complaints and non-conformances, including root cause analysis
• Oversee environmental monitoring
• Manage and develop the QC Technician

Essential

• Senior quality experience in food manufacturing 
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety legislation
• Experience managing a QMS and leading audits
• Experience investigating complaints/non-conformances
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office
