Commercial Gas Engineer Chelmsford - With travel into LondonUp to 60K + Van + Fuel + BonusesAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Gas Engineer to join my clients growing team, providing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and installation work across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London.The commercial gas engineer will work independently and as part of a wider engineering team to ensure commercial gas systems and associated plant are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas appliances and systems. Diagnose faults and complete reactive maintenance and repairs efficiently. Service, maintain, and repair commercial boilers, water heaters, warm air units, radiant tube heaters, and associated gas equipment. Undertake minor installation and replacement works where required. Complete all statutory testing and certification in line with current regulations. Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, and company procedures. Produce accurate service reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records using electronic job management systems. Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and colleagues. Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota (where applicable). Identify opportunities for remedial works and report recommendations. ..... full job details .....
