Job Title: Caretaker / Maintenance Operative Location: Whetstone Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm Salary: £20 per hour (20 hours per week) Requirement: Car owner essential Overview We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hands-on Caretaker / Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day running of two adjacent residential buildings set within their own grounds in Whetstone. This is a varied role combining maintenance, light cleaning, and general caretaking duties. You will play a key part in ensuring the buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Occasional travel to other nearby sites may also be required. Key Responsibilities General and Grounds Duties Carry out daily visual inspections of the building exterior and grounds Sweep car park areas and conduct regular litter picking Seasonal duties including leaf blowing Inspect internal communal areas for maintenance or cleaning issues Manage bin stores, including moving bins for collection Prepare flats for new tenant move-ins Respond to tenant queries in a professional and timely manner Maintain daily communication with the managing agent (Outlook use required) Conduct statutory checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors) Maintenance Duties Perform general maintenance and minor repairs in communal areas and flats Carry out minor plumbing and appliance repairs Undertake basic decorating as required Cleaning Duties Provide ad hoc cleaning in high-traffic areas ..... full job details .....
