Key Responsibilities: Oversee and organise both day and night workshop operationsSchedule and prepare workloads for the day shiftManage handovers from the night shift, including identifying parts requirementsPlan workloads for night shift activitiesAssign tasks to mechanics and monitor their progressCarry out spot-check quality inspections on engineers workOrganise and manage staff annual leaveLead, support, and develop HGV technicians and workshop staff, offering technical guidance when neededSchedule and prioritise servicing, maintenance, and repair work, including quality checking third-party repairs where requiredMaintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and VOR (Vehicle Off Road) statusesEnsure all work complies with safety policies and company procedures, carrying out risk assessments when neededMaintain compliance with DVSA and all other relevant regulatory bodiesTrack productivity, efficiency, and overall quality of workManage workshop budgets, costs, and ..... full job details .....
