Job Description: SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check) Located on the North Wales / Cheshire border, Broughton is the largest Airbus plant in the UK and focuses primarily on the manufacture of wings for the Airbus family of aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ergonomist to join the team at Broughton. Working within the Manufacturing Engineering organisation, this is an opportunity to influence and drive change in an established wing manufacturing facility. The small but extremely influential Ergonomics team have close working relationships with Operations, Design Engineering and Health and Safety across the Plant for all variants of commercial aircraft. The focus is on optimising human working conditions and the overall system performance for both existing and new manufacturing tooling and processes. Main Tasks and Activities: Increase efficiency and minimise the negative impact of the work packages on both the human and the manufacturing systems Perform ergonomics work analysis of Assembly/ Installation activities Identifying work related ergonomic risk factors at the workplace and propose solutions to mitigate risks Support building ergonomics action plans, suited to the industrial strategy and future evolutions Contribute to definition of specifications, call for tenders, and subcontractor piloting in the frame of Ergonomics related outsourced work packages on the specific site Ensure ..... full job details .....
