Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bury St Edumunds

Salary: -40,000 to -42,000

An opportunity has opened for a Maintenance Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will have excellent maintenance experience and have a multiskilled background within Electrical and Mechanical.

Maintenance Engineer Key Skills:

• Experience working within maintenance on machinery (ideally heavy machinery)
• Excellent mechanical and electrical experience
• Multi-Skilled background
• Fault finding, repairs and diagnostics
• Background in FMCG or Food Manufacturing would be a bonus
• Experience maintaining conveyors systems, pneumatics or similar

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and repairs to conveyors and other machinery
• Fault finding and performing diagnostics
• Attending emergency breakdowns and fixing problems
• Updating the CMMS records and keeping to food safety standards
• Assisting with training junior engineers and technicians on occasion
