A well-established and dynamic accountancy practice with over 50 years of history is looking to appoint a Tax Senior to join their growing tax team in Central London/St Albans. The firm provides a full suite of services to a broad range of SME clients, including audit, accounts, management consultancy, payroll and taxation, and is known for its supportive culture and long-standing client relationships.

Reporting into the Tax Manager, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of (Apply online only) personal tax clients, handling compliance and advisory services for a variety of individuals including company directors, landlords, self-employed clients and high-net-worth individuals. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong personal tax background to join a reputable, mid-sized practice with clear progression offering up to -58,000, hybrid working 4 days per week and 25 days holiday.

• Deliver a comprehensive personal tax compliance service, including for self-employed individuals and partnerships
• Prepare and review self-assessment and capital gains tax returns
• Complete P11D and PSA returns for employee benefits
• Prepare Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) returns
• Manage communication with clients and HMRC regarding tax compliance and enquiries
• Monitor deadlines, budgets and complete weekly timesheets
• Attend internal meetings, CPD sessions and training events as needed
• Support other members of the tax team with ad hoc tasks and technical queries

• Prior experience managing own tax portfolio
• Qualified or part-qualified ATT (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of personal and capital gains tax rules
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using CCH tax software

• -48,000 - -58,000 per annum DOE/quals
