for major long-term frameworks across the UK, including a £100 million framework with United Utilities to improve river health in Northwest England.RPS has over 20 years of collaboration with United Utilities on innovative projects. As we approach AMP8, this is an exciting time to work in the water industry, creating positive change.Under this 10-year framework, RPS will optimize programs, develop solutions, and select the best options based on value, carbon footprint, and cost, aiming to deliver exceptional water services and foster a resilient, eco-friendly Northwest.About The Team:

RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy support to water industry clients. Our industry offers challenges and opportunities requiring innovation, dedication, and teamwork.We also work with several major water companies across the UK, with a broad portfolio of long-term frameworks. Our water consultancy has a range of AMP8 programs leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering long-term career stability.About You:

You will handle technical project delivery, monitor budgets, meet deadlines, and ensure quality standards while exceeding client expectations. Joining us means working on impactful projects with leading minds, making a difference in millions of lives, and leaving a legacy for future generations. You will play a crucial role in the water industry, working with major water companies and communities.Your Responsibilities:

Ensure projects meet technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards.Develop innovative, optimized technical solutions based on client needs.Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICA).Build relationships with clients and partners on technical, commercial, and progress matters.Support design and advisory services for water and wastewater plants, pumping stations, and assets.Produce and review complex electrical designs, calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings.Deliver multi-disciplinary projects using digital design techniques.Mentor and develop staff performance.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Extensive experience in process plant systems within complex water industry projects.Hands-on experience in water and wastewater projects.Proficiency in digital design for design-build projects.Leadership experience within technical or discipline teams.Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.Chartered or working towards chartership.Membership with IET, InstMC, CIWEM, or in process of applying.What’s in it for you?
