OverviewNHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent post with the shift pattern working over Monday to Sunday on dayshift/nightshift rotational to support ward.

Responsibilities

Ensure high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care in our Acute General Medicine ward.

Demonstrate commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).

Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth.

Work effectively in a team.

Qualifications / Requirements

You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care and a willingness to learn and develop the required skills.

Ability to work flexibly in a rotating shift pattern and participate in the ward-based team.

Ambition, innovation and a safety-focused approach to care.
