MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor
A major international cost and project consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will work across technically complex projects, with a particular focus on data centres, healthcare, defence and industrial environments.
The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will lead the commercial management of mechanical, electrical and public health packages from early cost planning through procurement, construction and final account. The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to provide accurate cost advice throughout delivery.
This role would suit a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with strong consultancy experience who wants exposure to large-scale, technically demanding projects. The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key commissions while supporting junior team members and developing client relationships.

Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
Preparing detailed MEP cost plans, estimates and project budgets
Leading procurement and tender exercises for mechanical and electrical packages
Reviewing technical proposals, contractor submissions and tender returns
Managing valuations, variations, change control and final accounts
Producing commercial reports, forecasts and cost advice for clients
Monitoring MEP design development and identifying cost implications
Advising on procurement strategy, risk and value engineering
Leading client, design team and contractor meetings
Supporting and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Building Services or a related discipline
Strong UK consultancy / PQS experience
Proven experience managing MEP packages on complex projects
Experience within data centres, healthcare, defence or industrial sectors
MRICS qualified or actively progressing towards chartership
Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC or other relevant contract forms
Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
Confident client-facing, reporting and commercial management skills
Ability to manage multiple commissions independently
In Return:
-65,000 - -80,000 per annum
