Waking Night Support WorkerSalary: 14.24 per hour Hours: Up to 44 hours per week (4 nights per week) Shift Pattern: 10:00pm - 9:00am, Sunday to Thursday Contract: Term Time OnlyLocation: BexhillAt academics, we are looking for a waking night support worker to join a small, supportive team within a residential setting for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.The role involves providing overnight care, support and supervision to pupils and students aged 5-19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and associated SEND.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be:Positive, patient and caringCommitted to providing high-quality support and careExperienced in supporting children and young people with additional needsQualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or an equivalent relevant qualification)Working HoursThe successful candidate will work up to 44 hours per week across four waking night shifts, operating on a rota basis between 10:00pm and 9:00am, Sunday to Thursday, during term time only.Start date ASAP Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students PAYE, term time only If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Health and Social Care degree, it''s an excellent use of your degree You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorshipAlternatively, if this job is not for you then please still get in touch with us for other roles ..... full job details .....
