Building Surveyor – Legal DisrepairCentral LondonHybrid role£300 per day (Inside IR35)3-month initial contractResponsibilities

Manage live legal disrepair cases from initial inspection through to post-works reviewHandle party wall awards, repair diagnostics, and referrals from repairs teamsCarry out essential repairs and mitigate legal liability wherever possibleProvide technical advice and training to colleagues in the Technical Quality teamOccasionally give expert evidence in courtBuild strong working relationships with lawyers in the Chief Executive’s Directorate and other repair teamsEnsure all technical aspects of cases are dealt with efficiently and effectivelyQualifications

Experience managing legal disrepair casesGood understanding of damp, mould, and structural issuesIdeally hold a surveying qualification (not essential)Social housing experience is a bonusOrganised and proactive — able to manage your own calendar and caseloadConfident working largely from the office, with access to pool cars for site visitsHow to apply
