In this vital role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for patients, staff, and visitors alike. You will play a key part in infection prevention and control, supporting the overall delivery of quality care. Key Responsibilities: Carry out daily and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and public areas. Ensure infection control policies are followed at all times. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and clinical equipment as required. Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with training and Trust guidelines. Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with health and safety protocols. Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly. Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls.
