We are currently working on behalf of a large social housing contractor. My client is currently looking for a Roofer to carry out day to day roofing repairs and maintenance within occupied properties in the Surrey and surrounding areas.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation with plenty of room for progression.

Duties will include:

• All aspects of roofing repairs and maintenance
• Repair and maintenance of flat, tiled and slated roofs
• Inspect roof defects and determine appropriate repair methods
• Minor carpentry works associated with roofing
• Lead work and flashing repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Working in accordance with building regulations and roofing safety standards

This is a permanent position and you will receive the below:

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in roofing, ideally within social housing or repairs & maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• DBS check required
