Due to ongoing programmes of work, they require additional support within their engineering and inspection function.Your new roleAs a Civil Engineering Inspector, you''ll be responsible for carrying out site-based inspections across highways and public realm assets including roads, street works, car parks, and ongoing civil works.Your role will be inspection and compliance-focused. You''ll ensure works are being carried out safely, correctly, and in line with the relevant permits and legislation. This includes checking contractor documentation, identifying issues on site, completing inspection reports, and escalating findings where required.What you''ll need to succeedExperience working in a civil engineering, highways, street works, or public realm environmentBackground in site inspections, compliance monitoring, or Clerk of Works-style rolesPractical understanding of highways works and contractor activitiesConfidence working independently and managing your own timeAbility to produce clear written reports using Word, Excel, and digital inspection toolsAn HNC in Civil Engineering or similar is desirable.NRSWA / Street Works Supervisor qualification is desirable but not ..... full job details .....
