Your new company Hays are delighted to be working with a respected independent accountancy practice that has built an excellent reputation for delivering personalised advice and exceptional client service.Your new role As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for:Preparing sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts in line with FRS 102A and FRS 105.Drafting associated tax computations.Providing bookkeeping services and supporting clients with bookkeeping-related queries.Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building strong working relationships.Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.Advising clients on a variety of accounting and business-related matters.Supporting the wider team and contributing to the delivery of a high-quality client service.What you''ll need to succeed ACA, ACCA qualified, AAT qualified, or qualified by experience.Minimum of 5 years'' accountancy practice experience.Strong experience preparing accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses.Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.Proficient user of Xero.Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, Excel, Dext and CCH would be advantageous.Ability to work independently while managing multiple client deadlines.What you''ll get in return 35-hour working week.22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.Hybrid working with up to 2 days working from home following successful completion of probation.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunity to develop your technical ..... full job details .....
