Job Title: Bookkeeper Salary: 30,000- 35,000 per year Job Type: Full-time On-site Monday to FridayJob Overview A well-established company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day finance operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll, and contributing to the overall financial integrity of the business. Proficiency in Sage 50 is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendorsMaintaining and reconciling financial records using Sage 50Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices and credit notes (GBP, EUR, USD)Reviewing monthly HMRC postponed VAT statements and reconciling them with internal systemsManaging payroll for up to 20 staff, including processing timesheets, contracts, leavers, and pension contributionsAssisting with monthly profit and loss accounts and supporting year-end processesLiaising with external accountants and posting necessary adjustmentsUpholding financial compliance and confidentiality at all timesProviding general administrative support as requiredCandidate RequirementsProven experience in a bookkeeping or finance support roleStrong knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft ExcelHigh level of accuracy in data entry and financial processingSolid understanding of ledgers, payroll systems, ..... full job details .....
