We’re working with a leading contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to support a major project in Bournemouth.

This is a site-based role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the commercial delivery of a large-scale mechanical and building services package. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of cost control and ensuring the project remains commercially on track.

The Role:

• Overseeing the commercial management of M&E and building services works on site
• Producing cost reports, forecasts, and monthly financial reviews (CVRs)
• Assessing subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts
• Providing ongoing cost advice and supporting budget management across the project
• Working closely with the wider project team, as well as clients and external stakeholders
• Keeping accurate financial records and reporting on project performance
• Supporting contract administration in line with NEC, JCT or similar frameworks
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E or building services
• Previous experience on healthcare or hospital projects is highly advantageous
• Good working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
• Confident managing subcontractor accounts, variations, and cost control
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
• Able to work independently in a site-based environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Must have the right to work in the UK
