Tezlom, a leading recruitment agency established in 2008, is recruiting for a Chef based in a Nursing Home in Maidenhead, Berkshire- SL6 The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will lead the catering staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food production meets quality standards. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Adhering to our Residents'' dietary requirements in a Care Home environment, such as low fat diets, soft food diets, allergens and cultural preferences to food. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Monitor kitchen performance and provide feedback to team members for improvement. Work in line with our Residents to ensure their preferences, choices for food are taken into consideration and applied at seasonal menus.
