Senior Project Engineer

Location: Horton & West Wickham

-450500/day Inside IR35 or Up to -75k Permanent

Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong Civil Engineering background to join a major water sector delivery team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a key role in delivering complex engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager, design teams, site teams, supply chain and clients from design through to construction and commissioning.

The Role

• Manage and coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities
• Drive project programmes, milestones, risk and cost control
• Lead design liaison and collaborative planning meetings
• Coordinate site teams, designers and supply chain partners
• Support procurement, tendering and commercial management
• Identify opportunities for innovation, improved delivery and reduced risk
• Work closely with the Project Manager and QS to monitor project performance
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification

About You

• Strong Project Engineering / Project Management experience
• A Civil Engineering or construction-related degree/equivalent
• Experience delivering engineering projects under NEC3
• Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and H&S legislation
• Proven experience managing programmes, costs, risks and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Water sector experience is desirable, particularly non-infrastructure
• P6, APMP or Chartered/near Chartered status would be advantageous
