Sr. Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro''s sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams - including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. If you have a passion for sales, generating new leads and surpassing revenue goals, further your career with Supermicro!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Business Development / Strategy Delivery and Management within key non-direct partnersResponsible for outbound cold calls and potential customers, e.g. System integrators, VARs, OEMsQualify opportunities; create target lists for vertical marketsDevelop relationships, communicate product and market informationMonitor inventory, negotiate prices, enter and monitor order start, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returnsDevelop supervisor customer service relationships with prospectsConsistently achieve lead and quotaProduce reports as necessaryQualifications:Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, or similar fields preferredMinimum 7-10 years of experience in a server sales environment preferredStrong background in complex IT solutions sales, with a consistent track record of successUK channel experience with in-depth knowledge of key stakeholders and market dynamicsEntrepreneurial spirit with the ability to take initiative and drive opportunities independentlyProven experience in systems engagement and navigating complex sales situationsStrong inter-personal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teamsPassionate about sales activities and building long-term customer relationshipsAble to work positively under deadlines and constraints; result-oriented and highly attentive to detailDemonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challengesStrong communication skills across multiple disciplines and cultures; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsExperience tracking and reporting data on lead activityStrong written and verbal skills in English are a must; proficiency in a second language is a plusMulti-tasking and time management skills are essentialConsistently meets or exceeds assigned goals in a timely mannerEEO StatementSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
