Job Title: Bid Writer - South East
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum
 
I am recruiting on behalf of a leading highways and infrastructure contractor who are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their growing team in the South East. This is a great opportunity to lead the production of winning quality submissions, working closely with the Bid Director to shape strategy and develop compelling responses that set the business apart.
 
Responsibilities:
· Lead and coordinate high-quality written bid responses
· Research clients, gather intelligence and develop strong win themes
· Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to gather content
· Support with bid presentations, site visits and client meetings
· Maintain bid collateral (case studies, templates, best practice documents)
· Collate client feedback and drive continuous improvement
 
Requirements:
· Proven track record in producing successful bid submissions
· Experience in highways maintenance, public sector or civils/construction is highly desirable
· Strong writing, editing and organisational skills
· Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure
· Hybrid working - minimum 2 days a week in the office
 
Package:
· £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
