Key Responsibilities:Lead and support new product development and in-market product enhancementsCreate product concepts, estimates, and detailed 2D/3D designs using SolidWorksEnsure designs are ready for manufacturing, with emphasis on DFM (Design for Manufacturing)Generate and manage technical documentation, including drawings and BoMsSupport testing, product validation, and implementation of design improvementsConduct competitor analysis and share insights with internal stakeholdersCollaborate with Marketing, Sales, QA, and Engineering teamsAttend exhibitions and deliver technical training when neededContribute to the design team''s process improvement and patent opportunitiesParticipate in and support regulatory audits (ISO, CE, WRAS, etc.)Requirements:Essential:Proficiency in SolidWorks 2D/3D CADStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFMExperience with BoM management, prototyping, and data analysisAbility to work across disciplines (electronics, firmware, software)Strong communication skills and ability to support internal/external stakeholdersDesirable:Experience in injection moulding designBasic skills in using machine tools (lathe, mill) ACS are recruiting for a Design Engineer.
