We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our client''s Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying towards an accounting qualification and looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices and financial transactions accurately.Manage bank payments, transfers and reconciliations.Resolve supplier and customer queries promptly.Raise invoices and monitor customer accounts.Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.Support monthly accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with finance system maintenance and process improvements.Ensure deadlines, controls and KPI targets are consistently met.About YouGCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.Studying towards or qualified to AAT Level 3 or above.Experience processing high volumes of financial transactions.Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.DesirableExperience in a multi-site or large organisation.Knowledge of finance/ERP systems.If you''re a proactive team player with a strong eye for detail and a passion for finance, we''d love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
