Teaching Assistant / HLTA - Primary School
Location: Trafford Area
Start Date: 13th April
Contract: Until end of term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Paid weekly PAYE
Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Trafford area seeking a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA to join their team from after the Easter break until the end of term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the school, supporting a range of pupils and year groups in a varied and rewarding role.
Role Overview:
- Providing support across the primary school in a variety of classes
- Delivering small group work and interventions
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs across the school
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and organisation
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA within a primary setting
- A strong, confident, and adaptable approach to working across different year groups
- Experience supporting a range of pupil needs (not exclusively SEND)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
