Quantity Surveyor Temp to Perm South East London Location: South East London and Central London Contract: Temporary to Permanent Project Value: £5 Million Working Pattern: 4 Days on Site and 1 Day in the Central London Office The Opportunity My Client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor for a Temp to Perm opportunity to manage a £5 million project in South East London This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of a major project, with approximately 30% of the procurement already completed and the immediate priority being to finalise the remaining procurement before taking responsibility for the commercial management and delivery of the project The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring the project is commercially controlled, procurement is completed efficiently and the project is delivered in line with budget and programme Alongside the main £5 million project, the Quantity Surveyor will also have involvement in other projects, offering variety and the opportunity to contribute to the wider commercial team Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the commercial management of a £5 million project in South East London Complete the outstanding procurement for the project, with approximately 30% already procured Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, negotiations and appointments Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations to achieve the best commercial outcomes Manage cost control, ..... full job details .....
