MIG Welder – Day & Afternoon Shifts
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a well-established manufacturing team in Hinckley. With supportive management, a clean working environment, and real potential for a permanent contract, this is a great opportunity to secure long-term, stable work.

Available Shifts:

Day Shift:

• Monday to Friday

• 6:00am – 2:30pm

Afternoon Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm – 1:00am

• Pay: £14.65 per hour

(Please note: flexibility may be required to support production demands.)

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding of sheet metal from 1mm to 15mm

• Occasional stainless steel welding

• Machine setup and parameter adjustment

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job paperwork

• Meeting deadlines and achieving production targets

• Conducting quality checks on finished components

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years' MIG welding experience

• Able to set up and operate welding equipment confidently

• Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Team player with a flexible and proactive approach

This role may suit someone with experience as a:
MIG Welder, Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker, Welding Operative, Engineering Operator, Quality Inspector, or Manufacturing Operative.
