Role: CNC MillerLocation: LutonSalary: Up to 35,000 depending on experience Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Miller who will be responsible for the setup, operation, and optimisation of CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components in line with engineering drawings and production requirements. Responsibilities include:Set up, operate, and adjust CNC milling machines to produce components to specificationInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentationSelect and install appropriate cutting tools, and fixturesEdit and optimise CNC programs to improve cycle times and machining performanceCarry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipmentIdentify and resolve machining issues related to tooling, materials, or machine performanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with company procedures Skills and Experience:Proven experience operating CNC milling machines in a production or precision engineering environmentStrong understanding of milling processes, tooling, and cutting parametersAbility to read and work from detailed engineering drawings and tolerancesExperience with common CNC control systems (e.g. Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, or similar)Competent in the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and bore gaugesUnderstanding of quality standards and inspection processesWR Engineering are the recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing ..... full job details .....
