We are currently working with a large SEN provision in Stockport, to recruit experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team in September.The school is a specialist college, who support pupils aged between 19-25, with complex needs.As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, providing both emotional and sensory supportMaintain regular communication with staff, parents and external agencies to monitor progress and developmentPrepare engaging learning resourcesRequirements:A Level 3 Diploma, or equivalent in Health and Social CarePrevious work experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting is preferredA calm, compassionate natureTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
