Our highly-established client based in Biggleswade are looking for a CNC Miller to join their rapidly growing team, on a Temp to Perm basis. The right candidate must be dependable and innovative candidate who can work confidently and independently. 
 
The hours for this position are Monday to Thursday 07:00am-16:00pm, and Friday 07:00am-13:00pm.
 
The hourly rate for this role is £15.50-£17.00ph, depending on experience (Overtime available)
 
Main duties as a CNC Miller:

• Writing and interpreting instructions and procedures to assemble equipment and products accurately
• Getting information from all relevant sources
• Controlling machines and processes
• Performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials, and products
• Analysing information and finding the best solutions to problems
• Keeping the work environment safe
• Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work

• Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist
• Hurco machine experience is a must
• Over 5 years’ experience in a machine shop environment preferred
• Recognised apprenticeship or City & Guilds training preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
• Understanding of mathematics
• Understanding CAD drawings, symbols, & tolerances
• Attention to detail and self-motivation
