The role is available to start ASAP and will initially run until Christmas, with the potential for the right candidate to be extended through to the end of the academic year.We are ideally looking for a UK graduate who has previous experience working with children, whether through university placements, volunteering, internships or previous employment.The RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to: Support and lead learning within a Year 1 classroom. Confidently cover PPA sessions and lead the class in the teacher''s absence. Deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the school''s curriculum. Support pupils with their learning, progress and development. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment. Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team. Adapt activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
