Relationship Manager Structured Real Estate

Responsibilities
Develop relationships with customers and brokers for large or complex lending opportunities in structured real estate.Structure financial proposals aligned with bank risk appetite and present high-quality credit papers to senior stakeholders.Manage the customer journey from application to completion, ensuring excellent service throughout.Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to source opportunities with professional real estate investors.Negotiate complex facilities and structures, including potential joint ventures with other lenders.Work closely with Portfolio Management to provide ongoing customer support.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., lawyers, valuers, 3rd parties) to facilitate transactions.Act as the first line of defence in protecting the bank from risk exposure and ensure regulatory compliance where applicable.
The Person
Proven experience in structured real estate finance or a similar role within the banking sectorProven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients and professional real estate investorsIn-depth knowledge of real estate markets, financing structures, and risk assessmentStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelKnowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirementsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
