Shutdown Manager (Project Manager) - Chemical Manufacturing
Hours: Full time (39 hours per week, Monday Friday) Our client has more than 65 years of chemical manufacturing heritage and an established reputation for excellence through continuous improvement, dependability, social and environmental responsibility. The Engineering department has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Shutdown Delivery Manager. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Engineering, the principal role of the Shutdown Delivery Manager is to interface with Operations to provide and execute a plan of works that ensures the site is safe to operate and is compliant with legislation in terms of process condition and operation. The successful candidate will be required to: Develop a forward schedule and plans for all shutdowns on our clients site. The SDM will work with the Engineering Authority / Deputy Head of Engineering / Subject Matter Experts to ensure that Shutdowns and Maintenance is delivered and supports our clients capability. The SDM will review, and ensure, that the tasks within engineering are effectively configured to maximise the support to the capability. Working with the Engineering Authority to ensure all works are compliant with UK requirements policy / procedures / legislation the SDM will manage the relationship with sub-contractors and will work with the Planning Supervisor with respect to our clients staff Plant Engineers, EIandC, and Maintenance .
