We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Upholsterer to join a manufacturing team. As a Skilled Upholsterer, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality upholstered furniture pieces. Responsibilities: Perform upholstery tasks on a variety of furniture pieces, including but not limited to sofas, chairs, ottomans, and headboards. Apply and attach upholstery materials using various techniques, including stapling, sewing, gluing, and tacking, while ensuring precision and consistency. Inspect furniture frames and make necessary repairs or modifications before upholstery to ensure structural integrity and stability. Collaborate with design and production teams to interpret furniture specifications, fabric choices, and customer preferences accurately. Work with a range of tools and equipment, such as upholstery machines and staple guns, ensuring their proper maintenance and safety. Uphold high-quality standards and attention to detail throughout the upholstery process to meet customer expectations and industry regulations.
