Site Manager Type: Permanent Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum plus car allowanceStart Date: May We are seeking a dedicated and degree qualified Site Manager for a permanent position on a new build and refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre. This role involves overseeing a £2 million office build project as part of a negotiated contract , with an expected duration of 20 weeks The contract has been procured under the NEC form of contract indicating the need for a commercially sound manager with experience in early warning notices and compensation events which would be an advantage although full training on the NEC contract will be provided. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. - Supervise all on-site personnel, including subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers - Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management. - Ensure that the project is delivered to the highest possible standard and meets all regulatory requirements. - Proactivity in identifying and resolving on site issues before they become apparent - Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
