Plumber
Your New Company We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider operating within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established team at HMP Styal on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Your New Role As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Working within a team of maintenance professionals, you will ensure that plumbing systems and associated building services are maintained safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing repairs Maintenance of water systems, sanitary ware and associated pipework Fault-finding and diagnosis of plumbing issues Installation and replacement of plumbing components and fixtures Ensuring compliance with health and safety and water hygiene regulations Supporting wider maintenance activities where required Participation in the 1-in-3 weekend rota What You''ll Need to Succeed NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification) Previous experience in a maintenance environment Experience undertaking both reactive and planned works Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of health and safety procedures Full UK driving licence is desirable What You''ll Get in Return Temporary to permanent opportunity Stable 39-hour working week Competitive pay rates Ongoing training and ..... full job details .....
