Warehouse Operative (Bridgewater TA6)

Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the Bridgwater area for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This Warehouse Operative role offers consistent morning hours, weekly pay and the opportunity to work within a supportive warehouse environment. Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution settings would be advantageous, although candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

The Role As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking, moving and storing stock within a temperature-controlled freezer environment
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Maintaining stock accuracy and supporting inventory control processes
• Operating warehouse equipment where required
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general duties to support the smooth running of the operation

Skills and Experience To be considered for this Warehouse Operative position, you should have:

• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience
• Reach Truck licence or experience preferred but not essential
• PPT licence or experience advantageous
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Candidates with experience as a Stores Operative, Logistics Operative, Goods In Operative, Order Picker, Reach Truck Driver, Forklift Driver or PPT Operator are encouraged to apply.
