Hybrid Role: Class 2 HGV Driver and Warehouse Operative Location: Ridgeway Belfast Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reporting to: Operations Manager Overview We are seeking a proactive and physically fit individual to join our Belfast depot in a hybrid role that combines Class 2 HGV driving with warehouse operations. This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth dispatch, receipt, and delivery of construction equipment for hire and sales, maintaining high standards of stock control, safety, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Driving and Delivery Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to deliver construction equipment across Ireland. Load and off-load vehicles manually and using a forklift. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections. Warehouse Operations Dispatch and receive goods, checking quantities, quality, and condition. Identify damages or unsafe equipment and report promptly. Clean and maintain products to ensure they are hire-ready. Prepare orders for dispatch and assist in maintaining sufficient stock levels. Keep warehouse and yard areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment. General Duties Adhere to all Health and Safety standards and procedures. Support colleagues and contribute to meeting business objectives as required. Requirements Essential: Clean Class 2 HGV licence.
