Design Manager - Water / Infrastructure ProjectsWe are looking to recruit an experienced Design Manager within the Yorkshire region to work alongside Site Teams across multiple framework projects within the UK water sector. You will be responsible for managing internal and external design resources, assessing design risk, ensuring buildability and compliance, and delivering technical outputs in line with project requirements, engineering standards, CDM regulations, and health and safety best practice.You will lead multidisciplinary design teams to achieve successful project outcomes across a portfolio of infrastructure and utility projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain design deliverables plans alongside project delivery teamsManage design forecasting and commercial design allowances across framework projectsCoordinate internal design teams and external consultants/resourcesManage supply chain input and ensure supplier design complianceSupport tender design development and estimating activitiesOversee technical queries and upstream/downstream design coordinationLiaise with clients to ensure design requirements and considerations are fully understoodAllocate design resource across projects and frameworksMaintain and manage design risk registersSupport project planning and programme development activitiesAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Strong communication and leadership skillsExperience within MandE, Civil Design and Build, infrastructure, utilities, or ..... full job details .....
