Newly Qualified Primary Teacher (KS1) – Tonypandy

Full-Time | Long-Term Role | September Start

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming, community-driven primary school in Tonypandy to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT/ECT) for a full-time Key Stage 1 position starting in September.

This is a long-term opportunity running initially until Christmas, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

The successful teacher will join a supportive and nurturing school environment where strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff are highly valued. The role will include full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment, and marking, while also benefiting from allocated PPA time throughout the week.

As part of this opportunity, the successful candidate will also receive additional support and mentorship from the TeacherActive Careers Coaches, making this an excellent role for a newly qualified teacher looking to develop confidence and experience in the classroom.

• Be a newly qualified or early career teacher with QTS
• Have the ability to confidently manage a Key Stage 1 classroom
• Deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Build excellent working relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Be personable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Be willing to take on full classroom responsibilities including marking and assessment

• A welcoming and supportive community-focused environment
• Dedicated PPA time
• Valuable classroom experience within Key Stage 1
• Ongoing support and mentorship from TeacherActive Careers Coaches
• A long-term, stable teaching opportunity
