We''re supporting a leading engineering technology business that has recently developed its own fibre laser cutting systems and is looking to strengthen its service team with a highly skilled Field Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing division at an early stage, supporting innovative laser cutting equipment across customer sites throughout the UK, with the potential for occasional European travel as the customer base expands. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:Installation and commissioning of fibre laser cutting systemsFault finding and diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and process-related issuesPlanned preventative maintenance and breakdown supportOptimisation of machine performance and cutting parametersCustomer training and technical supportWorking closely with customers to resolve technical and process challengesThis role goes beyond traditional machine servicing and requires an engineer who truly understands laser cutting processes and machine performance.
