Develop/improve manufacturing processes to support a new Manufacturing Execution System by:

Capturing and studying requirementsResearching, designing, modifying, and testing new manufacturing digital solutionsIdentification of Leonardo stakeholders and support to stakeholder managementUnderstanding feedback from Leonardo stakeholdersConferring with vendors or external partnersAssess business benefits of new integrated digital environment for end uses and identify KPIs to track adoption and benefits following introduction of the new tool.

Provide input on design decisions for interfacing applicationsSupport in the development of the detailed work plan to schedule, track, and forecast the assigned work to be deliveredSupport in the prioritization of the work packages identified within the Future MES projectSupport in preparation of content for technical reviews including; technical steerco, design reviews and change review boards.Responsible for validating new/enhanced feature/functionality test scriptsDevelopment of materials to support stakeholder engagementCollaborate with business SMEs to identify regression testing elements for new/enhanced feature/functionality user acceptance testingResponsible for creating additional user acceptance test scripts/criteria for new/enhanced feature/functionality including ‘break’ testsBe the project’s subject matter expert to validate testing and undertake show and tell activitiesWhat you\''ll bring

In depth understanding of manufacturing processes and principlesEffective change management skillsA detailed understanding of the operational framework and business processesAn understanding of cross functional / commercial business processes and their own impactAbility to take ownership of a work package; planning and scheduling own workload and the work of othersOperational understanding of project work and how the work of the team impacts upon other project activitiesDemonstrated knowledge and experience of multiple phases of the Product Life Cycle and the associated processesExperience of peer reviewing the work of others inside a product teamDemonstrated knowledge of the risk / reward process associated with manufacturing activity informing the activities of a product teamAbility to communicate concepts in a non-technical wayConfidence and ability to challenge / respond to technical / process issuesAbility to interact effectively with stakeholdersBeen involved in capability and / or process development, demonstrating an ability to implement a change to working practicesDigital Manufacturing Engineer – Future MES (Manufacturing Execution System) ProjectSecurity Clearance
