Role focus: lead and deliver Telecoms design and discipline work for rail projects, with responsibilities across management, delivery and mentoring.Responsibilities

Promote and maintain safe working practices in the office and whilst on siteAbility to self-manage tasks, projects, time and project deliveryDaily management of allocated projects and discipline teamProvide/assist with mentoring and guidanceDiscipline project delivery of technical deliverables, maintaining budget and programAssist with in-house training for teamAssist with team resources and planning of resourcing for future projectsMaintain good engineering practice, delivery and performanceWhat We Are Looking For You To Demonstrate

Ability to lead discipline teams on projects, maintain budget and program, report progress and assist with solving project issuesAbility to maintain online Resource Forecast Tool to reflect current and future planned resources; strong experience with CRE and/or PE roles with in-depth knowledge of Telecoms SISS and OpsComsHistory of delivering Engineering Stages 3-5 and 6-7 would be an advantageWorking knowledge of Network Rail CR-T; identify deliverables and lead Telecoms team to complete project deliveryExperience of working in Telecoms; previous experience leading design and/or PE rolesProfessional membership; good working knowledge of Rail SISS and OpsComsInvolved with multi-discipline design and interfaces for Telecoms designExperience of budget, scope and program deliveryAbility to mentor and develop discipline engineersGood working knowledge of OneNote, Word and ExcelExperience of authoring technical documentation and design packagesAble to provide technical guidance and reference engineering design standardsIdentify business opportunities and develop strategiesAbout Us
