TrueNorth are working with a national organisation and household name who are looking for a QA focussed specifically around Data Engineering to join the team.The QA Data Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of data systems, pipelines, and analytics platforms. They design and implement automated testing frameworks, validate data transformations, and work closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to guarantee that data delivered to the business is trustworthy and fit for purpose.Key responsibilities:Data Quality AssuranceTesting and AutomationCollaboration with Data EngineersDocumentation and governanceKey skills and experience needed:Commercial experience of automation testing for Data EngineeringTesting tools like Great Expectations, dbt, pytest and data validation frameworksExperience of testing data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Azure SynapseExperience of testing pipelines in things like Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, KafkaData Concepts ETL/ELT, data modelling, data warehousing, data governanceThe role is 100% remote, however you must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK in place already - we are unable to sponsor for this position.We have a salary of £75,000 available on an 18 month fixed term contract for this role plus benefits.Please apply for more ..... full job details .....
