Priding themselves in being one of the UK''s most experienced Automotive pressings manufacturers.The Plant Quality Engineer will support all necessary activities to improve quality, minimise costs and drive improvements to support business and customer satisfactions. Responsible for supporting quality issues and for required participation to ensure zero impact to customers. You''ll be apart of a team who are expected to demonstrate the following skills:Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system - IATF and ISOReport key performance indicators in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity related productsLead quality-related issues for internal, supplier and customer concernsIdentify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues using proven methodology such as 8D and supporting toolsCMM application and CMM programming knowledge would be advantageousAssist NPI team with new product introduction and supporting activitiesExperience required to be successful in the Plant Quality Engineer role:Proven experience in fast paced manufacturing organisationProven problem solving ability using known techniques - 8D, 5 Why etcGood understanding of manufacturing processesUnderstanding of quality systemsUnderstanding of engineering ..... full job details .....
