This role is ideal for someone with a background in engineering or manufacturing who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will play a vital role in supporting both purchasing functions and project management, requiring strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of engineering documentation.Key Responsibilities of this Purchasing and Project Support Coordinator position: Interpret and break down bespoke engineering drawings to identify and source required materials and components.Execute and manage all purchasing activities ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement aligned with project deadlines.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.Support project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project; update and maintain accurate project timelines.Assist in the creation, review, and control of quality documentation and compliance certifications.Collaborate closely with internal departments ensuring alignment between purchasing, production, and quality functions.Track and report on project milestones, highlighting any issues or delays and supporting corrective actions.Maintain accurate records and ..... full job details .....
