Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.Provide personal care that protects people''s dignity.Promote independence using enabling approaches.Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time.Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.Induction Training
We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. You may have no direct experience, or you may have been a Carer for a friend or family member. Regardless, we will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on:Be Caring values, going Above and Beyond to meet personal outcomes.Dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity.Confidentiality and professional boundaries.Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication.Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red).Infection prevention and control, health and safety.Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity.Shifts, Pay and Travel
Shift patterns include early starts, late evenings and weekend work. Working pattern will be agreed with you and a 2-week rota will be set, including alternate full weekends, or every Saturday or every Sunday, with evenings as agreed within your working hours.Pay: £12.82 p/hr (drivers) | £12.25 p/hr (walkers).Mileage: 45p per mile for drivers and 20p per mile for cyclists.Part-time and full-time hours available.Benefits
